It is. This is my favorite recipe for fried chicken. I use the same recipe with different sauces and gravies depending on what cuisine I am serving. For instance, if you serve the chicken with cream gravy and mashed potatoes instead of lemon sauce and rice, you have a great Southern dinner. Or you could add a marinara sauce, mozzarella and pasta and have Italian. It's very versatile. And you will never taste the oyster sauce or the butter milk, just tender, juicy chicken with a crispy breading. :)
