The Taste Sandwich

This is my favorite sandwich ever. I love it, and eat it probably at least 3x a week, when I have the opportunity.


You will need:
--Some sort of hearty bread (I like multigrain), toasted
--sour cream
--mustard
--thin-sliced dill pickles
--shredded beef (You can use the stuff from the fridge section without BBQ sauce, or make your own with a slow-cooked roast, salt, pepper and a little water)

Ok, so this part is really hard, so pay attention: you take the bread, put sour cream and mustard and pickles on it (I like a thick-ish layer of sour cream, and then a VERY thin/sparse layer of mustard), then put the beef on top of that. Then you close the sandwich and eat it.

I know, so tricky right?

The nice thing is that you can make extra shredded beef for like tacos or chili or more sammishes without any extra work! YAY!

And now you've got me wanting *my* favorite, which is on Italian deli white bread or pumpernickle, and is alternating layers of wine-cured Genoa salami, Munster cheese, smoked ham and aged Provalone, all sliced paper thin, stacked thick. Then heat it (microwave or griddle or oven or whatever) until the cheese just starts to melt, and you don't need mayo or anything else. Green salad on the side, Italian dressing.
