Pork chops with Balsamic Honey Glaze

Sweet and Savory Pork Chops, easy to make but nice enough for company.



Pork Chops with Balsamic Honey Glaze

1/4 c. balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons honey

1 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary

1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes, optional

4 thick cut, center cut pork chops

salt and pepper to taste

Cook vinegar, butter, honey, rosemary and red pepper flakes, in a small pot until butter is melted and mixture begins to bubble lightly. Remove from heat. Preheat grill or grill pan ( or George Foreman electric grill ) Transfer about 2 tablespoons of glaze to a small bowl and set aside., Season pork chops with salt and pepper and brush with glaze. When grill is medium hot add chops and cook 3-4 minutes on each side. ( probe thermometer in thickest part should read 140 F. ) Remove chops from heat and brush with remaining glaze. Serve with salad and rolls.

300 calories per serving. Cost per serving about $2.06

this type of glaze is fantastic on brussels sprouts too :)

Oh goodness, thank you SO MUCH for that suggestion! I just tried the glaze with brussels, and it's fantastic!!!

As a follow-up, the glaze (which I had some leftovers of from last night's brussels) works fantastically on roasted broccoli as well :D
