I'm always looking for a new cookie recipe and I think I found a new one.
It's Aarti Sequeira's Garam Masala-Chocolate Gingerbread . I'm only halfway through making them (the dough is chilling), but they taste so good it's not funny.
If you like Indian flavors or want to introduce someone to them, they're a pretty good method.

on 2010-12-14 08:57 pm (UTC)I haven't even frosted my test cookies yet. They came out dark-dark-dark, crisp and light, and so deliciously spicy (the pepper in the garam masala is a wonderful touch). What a terrific recipe. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
