Tomato Sweet-and-Sour, with Swedish-style meatballs

In a nutshell, this is what happens when Swedes and Italians get together. Sorry, I don't have any pictures.
Meatballs:
1 lb ground turkey or beef
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs or wheat germ
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp parsley
1 tbs minced dry onion
Form into 2-inch balls, brown in olive oil.
Sauce:
8 fl. oz. tomato sauce
1 tbs ketchup
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs sugar
2 tbs red wine vinegar
3 whole cloves
1/2 bay leaf, crumbled
Simmer 15 minutes, with cooked meatballs. Serve with egg noodles, spaetzle, or gnocci.
