1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
STIR DRY 2
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups raisins (or cranberries or currants or ...)
1. Cream sugar & butter
2. Beat egg & liquids until well mixed, then stir into step 1 mixture.
3. Stir flour and salts, then stir into step 2 mixture
4. Stir oats and dried fruit, then stir into step 3 mixture (hard work!)
5. Grease cookie sheet (2 if you have ‘em)
6. Drop by tablespoonsful onto sheet, well-spaced.
7. Bake 10 — 15 minutes in 350° oven (they don’t brown much)
8. Remove to rack to cool
These were my #1 fave MyGuy cookies. We've never tried to make them gluten free, but I'm imagining this would be possible. Will report back if I succeed.
