Just a suggestion, maybe not make the same post (worded exactly the same) to multiple communities at the same time? This showed up as a double post on my flist. And it might be just me, but I like a little more information about a link someone's dropping, some more description.
What kore said. Even just mention that it's a Filipino food site, and maybe a specific recipe or three you've tried and would recommend or have comments on?
Yes, that's why the entries are short, because I know I am in multiple food communities. It's basically hit or miss; I'm going to keep posting to relevant communities in short bursts that doesn't take 30 seconds to scroll through, and I knew if people wanted to click on the links they would, and I knew that they would figure out right away if they read that it was Filipino food, which I don't think takes away from the five seconds to check out the link if you wanted to, that nobody makes you do.
If you'd put half that many words of explaination into the original post, I wouldn't have griped about it. A paragraph does not take 30 seconds to scroll past. Clicking on a junky site full of grabby javascript and ads does.

It's not a junky site with too many ads to me, no.
Good day.
