Balsamic Strawberries

Strawberry season is finally here so let's celebrate:

fresh berries drizzled with aged balsamic vinegar, seasoned with raw cane sugar and black pepper, topped with a blob of creme fraiche

I've seen plain Greek yogurt substituted for creme fraiche, which might be easier to find in the US, at least if you have vaguely health-foodish stores around.

In this case it would work but not in cooking. Yoghurt splits very easily.
There's definitely a difference in texture and taste.
