I'm going primal, so instead of doing wonderful things to potatoes, rice or pasta, I need to think of more wonderful things to do to meat and veg.
minced meat (half and half)
raw egg
ketjap to taste
half a small avocado, diced (small dices)
pepper to taste
Simply mix everything up, roll balls and sear in butter (the real stuff, not that vegetable oil and water stuff). Then temper with hot water and leave on a slow fire until done.
The avocado makes the minced meat lovely and moist and the ketjap adds a bit of tang.
Serve with a lovely veggie mix like broccoli and carrot or a salad. Very filling.
If you want to make a gravy, add a sliced apple, strawberries and plumb while cooking. That can simply be spooned over the meat to add a nice tangy-sweet sauce.
